Corporate Membership
This membership category is only open to institutions or organizations to promote and provide sound education to member’s staff and the general public from time to time. Categories of organizations or institutions under this class are Financial Institutions, Tertiary Institutions, Private Schools and Colleges, Government organizations and Ministries, Security Institutions, Training centers, etc., etc., etc.,……..
After having considered these broad criteria, if an institution believes it is in the position to submit an application, the President, Director-General, Directors, and Dean of faculty must submit an online inquiry to contact@icennig.org.ng. After the inquiry has been received, the Executive Head will share it with the Board Membership Committee and or the Council.
If the institution appears to meet the eligibility requirements, they will be invited to submit a full application, which would include:
i.Letter of application from the organization/institution.
ii.Copies of official documents detailing the mandate, scope, and governing structure of the organization/institution.
iii.Information on the activities undertaken by the institution that indicates the competence of your institution in matters relating to anti-corruption, international trade, investment and or commercial policy, economic policy, etc.
iv.Information on the affiliation of the institution with other professional bodies/organizations, international governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations or institutions involved in trade, investment, economics, commerce, industry, anti-corruption, etc., related programmes and or activities.
v.Admissions and graduate employment statistics, faculty CVs, and or evidence of meeting the other criteria mentioned above.
vi.Fully completed application form with contact information of the institution and of a designated contact point (Preferably the President/Chairman/Director-General/Dean or Director) for official communication with the secretariat.
vii.Registration and annual Academic/Institutional Membership fee.
On receipt of the above, the institution’s application will be reviewed by the Council for the fulfillment of the conditions. Successful applicant institutions, following agreement and approval by the Council, will be issued an official Academic/Institutional Membership Certificate and letter of accreditation as ICEN Accredited Academic/Institutional Member. Only accepted Institutional Members may be eligible for all the benefits of an Academic/Institutional Member.

ICEN Institutional Members are accredited to train Members and students to lead in a world where nations are increasingly linked in global trade, investment, development, environment, economic policy, business and commerce, and the development and sharing of human and natural resources. Inquiries will be accepted at any time throughout the year.
Integrity
Academic/Institutional Members of the ICEN are the primary sources of advanced training for Chartered Economist practitioners in their respective local governments, states, and countries or regions. These institutions prepare practitioners for the global workplace of the 21st Century by combining multidisciplinary, policy-oriented, inter-economic studies with career development. As the awarding and regulatory body, ICEN approves the tutors and or trainers/lecturers and sits on the examination board. Academic Institutional Members must, therefore, protect their integrity and be confident of their reputations by producing diverse, well-trained, competent, and sophisticated Chartered Economists practitioners, many of whom might be (if not already) holding senior leadership/executive positions in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors throughout the world.
